One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives is undoubtedly one of those properties that lives up to its name. To begin with, it spans across its own island, and for our amateur scuba enthusiasts’, it boasts the Maldives’ first PADI National Geographic dive centre. Did we mention the eight dining options, tennis courts on site and 12 beaches? Ok, so honestly let’s be frank – you’re visiting the fabulous property to spoil yourself rotten. By the way, as per Elite Traveller (USA), it features in the Top 100 Hotels list.
Our personal favourite was the Grand Beach Villa with Pool which entails a living room and an extra bedroom; more so, it surprises you with gorgeous views of the beach, ocean and sky from its veranda while you can sip a cocktail on the sun-bed or unwind in the 518 sq ft pool.
With sleek wooden interiors, an outdoor shower and yes, your very own buggy to escort you through the island ground, this is definitely my go-to villa on the island.
So The One & Only Reeti Rah is definitely out to spoil you; I mean given that they have an unpacking and packing luggage service! And yes, just incase the white-washed sand and private pool gets monotonous, indulge in some water sports which are on the house.
