St. Regis San Francisco is one of my preferred hotels when visiting the bustling city. In addition to the signature St. Regis experience, the hotel is also home to the finest restaurants in the city and an unfailing army of staff. If you’re a culture fanatic, the hotel’s prime location is truly something to appreciate. I mean, the property even shares a building with the Museum of the African Diaspora and is perched only a block from some of the city’s most iconic museums. What I loved about the hotel is its ability to attract a plethora of travellers from business travellers to tourists.
Staying at the St. Regis promises an unfathomable amount of luxury and comfort amidst the hustle and bustle of a metro city. While every category of accommodation is designed to provide travellers with an extraordinary experience, the Astor Suite seamlessly goes beyond all boundaries of luxury.
The expansive suite spans over 711 sq ft and entails a living room in addition to the master bedroom. The overall vibe of the suite is urban chic with fumed-oak floors, leather furniture and a 42 inch LCD TV. Ideal for working globetrotters, a work area occupies a corner nook, surrounded with windows that bathe the space in sunlight.
A sleek sliding door separates the hallway from the bedroom, which features an overtly comfortable king-size bed, Barcelona-style leather bench, and a 32-inch wall-mounted plasma-screen television. The bathrooms are adorned with beautiful limestone flooring, dual marble vanities with sinks, deep soaking tubs and 13-inch LCD televisions.
Perks are quite enticing as well, with access to the Honor Bar and complimentary garments pressing for 2 garments per stay. The iconic butler service is of course an added incentive.
