Suite of the Week : The lavish La Suite Shangri-La at the Shangri-La hotel Paris

When a hotel was the former home of a notable member of French imperial history, it’s only fair that the property garners some serious attention. Originally built as a residence to Prince Roland Bonaparte, the hotel is now part of Shangri-La’s impressive portfolio. Entailing intriguing characteristics of French architecture coupled with contemporary elements, the Shangri-La hotel in Paris commands views of the Eiffel Tower and River Seine. Yes indeed, exclusive fashion designers on Avenue Montaigne and Avenue George V are just around the corner and Michelin-starred diners are a stone’s throw away.

The beautiful city of Paris embodies the concept of style and glamour and I can’t think of a more appropriate choice to spend a few days than the La Suite Shangri-La. Perched on the top floor of the elegant building, the 2,420 sq ft suite space entails a 1,076 sq ft of terrace space offering divine views over the city.

The hotel recognises our admiration for the Eiffel Tower and hence the stunning monument can be cherished from a 14-metre-long panoramic window on the suite’s southern face. While the suite’s interior walls are covered in pearlescent Lelièvre panels, Canovas drapes and art deco detailing further complement the masterpiece.

While the suite can host 2 persons in their luxurious one-bedroom space, the La Suite Shangri-La can also be expanded to create a private “apartment,” spanning the entire seventh floor, with 4 bedrooms and a total living space of 5,382 sq ft.

Area : 2,420 sq ft
Price : Euro 20,000 per night
Occupancy : 2 persons
