Whether you are a passionate linksman or a spectator, the 7000-yard El Camaleón golf course at Rosewood Mayakoba is abound with golfing opportunities. As the OHL Classic gears up for its triumphant return from November 10-16, 2014 Rosewood Mayakoba Resort is introducing the Ultimate Golf Package for the hardcore fans to witness PGA Tour players contend at the par-71 golf course, El Camaleón. Designed by the sport legend Greg Norman, the El Camaleón golf course is the host venue to the OHL Classic at Mayakoba tournament every year.
The seven-night, $100,000 package, designed for three golfers will include private lesson with golf instructor Jim McLean, a private round of golf with Greg Norman at Playa Mujeres with helicopter transportation to and from, as well as three positions in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba Pro-Am, where golfers will be paired with one of the event’s premiere players and a leading Mexican television sports personality. Throughout the tournament, guests will have honorary observer positions as well as access to the exclusive Founders Club. The resort also provides complimentary transportation to and from the course.
To fill in time off the course, guests will enjoy the luxury of the Presidential Lagoon Suite along with a private beach barbeque and tequila tasting. The Presidential Lagoon is an expansive three-bedroom suite featuring a living and dining area, TV room, studio and kitchen. The master bedroom comes complete with walk-in closet and private plunge pool and other room amenities.
With a purse of $6.1 million dollars, OHL Classic at Mayakoba boasts the largest amount of prize money of any golf tournament in Latin America and remains México’s only PGA Tour event.
