2015 will witness a plethora of hotel openings in Asia considering the growth of the fast paced hospitality industry – and every hotel is out to compete with the rest with extraordinary amenities and personalised customer service. Fortunately, you and I know what we can expect from certain hotel chains. Coupled with the hottest locations, they are sure to satisfy even the most demanding of desires. While some have been on our radar for a while, others appeared from thin air.

This year, our globe trotters have a lot to look forward to, from luxurious hotel chains plotting their properties from Kyoto to Riyadh! Though I must tell you, hotel chains from Anantara to Hilton are openings properties prominently across Mainland China.

Opening – November 2015
Think swaying palms, white-washed beaches and sparkling waters – this is literally Goa! A Portuguese flavoured land in India for almost 500 years, the influence of colonial rule can still be seen everywhere: in the exquisite architecture and of course the culinary dishes cooked in the shacks dotted along the beaches. The first W to set up in the Indian subcontinent is none other than Goa! Details are scarce at the moment but the project is slated to complete by November this year to help ring in the new year in style. The W Goa and Resort will be a wonderful addition to the party capital of India.

10. Mandapa Ritz Carlton Reserve Ubud Bali
Opening – 2Q 2015
Ubud is a beautiful hill station dotted with stunning temples and monasteries This Indonesian town reflects the history and culture of Indonesia. The architectural design of the hotel is said to be inspired by the surrounding environment. Entailing 60 intimate villas and suites, each will reflect architectural features indigenous to Bali. The hotel will pamper you with lush gardens, hillside views, meditative areas and meandering pathways. The luxurious spa will offer bespoke treatments, while dedicated butlers will arrange unique experiences from under-the-star dinners to off-the-beaten-track excursions. Kubu, the property’s signature restaurant will be located in the middle of the rice field; the design of which is once again inspired by nature.

9. Anantara Guiyang, China
Opening –3Q 2015
Known as the Forest City, Guiyang offers a perfect summer vacation to escape from the heat and experience vibrant nature. The Chinese city offers stunning landscapes, hot springs, and waterfalls, alongside the rich heritage of a minority cultural town. Anantara Guiyang Resort & Spa – will offer 207 guest rooms and suites plus eleven villas, surrounded by a golf course and mountain scenery, for a beautiful view while relaxing in luxurious comfort. The accommodation at the Anantara is said to reflect nature and portray elements of its surroundings.
