The World Travel Awards bestowed a prestigious honor upon the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan, Italy this year. The hotel’s Katara Suite has received the title of the World’s Leading Hotel Suite of the year for the second year in a row.
The extravagant suite is spread over 11,000 square feet and is the largest suite in Italy.
The suite can sleep up to 8 people and the cost of staying in it is £17,000 ($20,000) per night.
It boasts a dining table that can seat 10 and even its own spa!
The suite has 4 bedrooms and all of them feature Murano glass chandeliers.
The suite was clearly designed with VIP guests in mind as it also features bulletproof windows and a direct “diplomatic entrance” with lift for heads of state or high-profile celebrities.
There’s even a conference room for private meetings!
Of the suites two terraces, one is complete with a living and dining area, while the other has its own “solarium”.
The lounge furniture was designed by Fendi Casa and complements the surrounding greenery.
The private Padoga spa room, which includes a hot tub under a dome, a Turkish bath, and a sauna.
Even the generous bathroom offers a spa-like experience with a whirlpool bath.
If you’re feeling really extravagant, book the neighboring Princess Suite too. Since it joins to the Katara, it increases the living space by one bedroom and one bathroom.
