The Peninsula Paris has teamed up with Studio Harcourt to offer guests their own movie star style portraits

The Peninsula Paris has designed a new experience for their guests intended to immortalise their stay at the iconic hotel. Thanks to a partnership with Studio Harcourt- the photographers who have captured glamorous black and white portraits of celebrities like Karl Lagerfeld, Cate Blanchett, Romy Schneider, Catherine Deneuve and Fan Bingbing – guests can now have their own dramatic black and white photo portraits taken as a souvenir of their time spent in Paris.

The Studio Harcourt team comprised of a photographer, lighting assistant, makeup artist and management representative, will travel to the hotel for the photo session at the request of the guest. Guests are invited to bring several outfits with them to vary the compositions, poses and styles. The portraits are shot to suit the personality and style of each guest and the photos can be taken in one of the hotel’s private lounges or in the guest’s suite, if space permits.

The experience begins with makeup and progresses into a reconstruction of the set with the photographer and the lighting assistant. The next day the photographer and the guest sit down to shortlist a number of photos together. These portraits are then sent to the studio’s Paris laboratory and retouched to Studio Harcourt quality standards. In a few weeks the guest will receive their finished portraits with the “Harcourt Paris” signature which are produced as numbered art prints and presented in an elegant box.
