The Ritz-Carlton unveils plans for new urban resort in Rabat, Morocco

The most esteemed capital of the Kingdom of Morocco – Rabat would soon be the destination to luxury hotel connoisseur The Ritz-Carlton! Although the new resort opening has been scheduled towards the end of this year, work in brick and mortar has already begun. Sienna Investment Group, an investment establishment from Morocco, is the owner of the resort, and along with it, Scape Design Associates and WATG Architects came up with the idea of roping in a luxury hotel brand that would fit the prestige and prominence that Rabat, as a city, held. That’s how they narrowed upon Ritz-Carlton.

The Ritz-Carlton Urban Resort, Rabat, would be located at a prime location – within The Royal Golf of Dar Es Salam, a highly esteemed golf course in Morocco. The golf course with a scenic area that includes oak trees, an array of flora, and breathtaking lakes would form the backdrop for the resort. Incidentally, it is one of the popular locations visited by the high society of Rabat.

The Ritz-Carlton Urban Resort at Rabat, Morocco, would be third among hotels under the Ritz-Carlton canopy, currently under development in North Africa.
