The uber stylish Miami Beach Edition hotel is now open

Whether you like to party all night on South Beach, savor lunch on the riverside, drink cocktails on the sand while chatting about alfresco art or take a stroll down the Ocean Drive, the city of Miami is abound with leisure opportunities- and right in the heart of it all is the new Edition hotel, The Miami Beach Edition. The urban luxury resort by hotelier Ian Schrager and Marriott International is the third Edition hotel, after Istanbul and London.

miami-beach-edition-hotels-2The 294-room new generation urban resort embodies a lifestyle revolution by integrating a four-lane bowling alley, ice-skating rink and a basement nightclub within its design.

miami-beach-edition-hotels-4Inhabiting the top two floors of the existing hotel building as well as a new 11-story tower will be 26 exclusive residences. Although part of The Miami Beach Edition, The Residences will have their own dedicated private entrance as well as an anonymous “celebrity” entrance, for ultimate privacy. Residents will also have access to all of the hotel amenities.

miami-beach-edition-hotels-5The Spa, located in the basement of the hotel features nine private treatment rooms including a custom Hammam room, and a detox room with a steam shower and far-infrared sauna, a Beauty Lounge and a spa retail outlet. The fitness center, located next door to the spa offers the latest in strength-training, weight and cardio equipment and rooms for group or personalized trainings sessions.

Inspired by the great century-old markets in Madrid and Barcelona, this 21st century patisserie offers casual gourmet food such as crudo, charcuterie and pizza. Whereas, The Matador Bar overlooking the hotel’s pool deck will offer Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s distinctive modern interpretation of Latin cuisine influenced by Spanish, Caribbean and South American flavors.
