Aerin Beauty and Sotheby’s Fine Jewels come together for a cause

Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer seems to be following her late grandmother’s footsteps all too well. The respected icon has been the torchbearer of the fragrance world and her protegee only seems to be doing justice to her treasures. Recently, Aerin Beauty launched two new fragrances, each being inspired by the contrasting shades of day and night.

Stirred by Estee Lauder views, who once exclaimed, “You wouldn’t wear the same dress to have dinner in if you were out playing tennis, so why would you wear the same fragrance?”, the perfume duo replicates the beautiful distinctions of day and night in a bottle. While the Tuberose Le Jour comes with fresh undertones of Neroli and Orange Flower, The Tuberose Le Soir plays on warm notes of Sandalwood and Vanilla. On choosing Tuberose as the core of both scents, Lauder-Zinterhofer explains, “tuberose (in this case, from India) smells very different during the day than in the night as the fully opened petals of the Tuberose flower are harvested only at sunset.” And thus, the idea of incorporating the multi-faceted flower into a fragrance was born.

To compliment the two blissful scents, Sotheby’s Fine Jewels will also auction two beautiful cocktail rings that were previously owned by the heiress herself. The statement rings are a David Webb and Van Cleef & Arpels collection, with the total proceeds of both being aimed at charity. Now wouldn’t we all fancy buying scents and jewelry that can match are many shades?
