Lalique pays tribute to Sarah Bernhardt with new autumn winter jewellery collection

Makers of fine crystal jewellery and works of art, Lalique have launched its latest collection that is a tribute to French actress Sarah Bernhardt. Once considered to be the most famous actress the world has ever known, Bernhardt had a rich career in the world of cinema. Adrienne, one of the collections launched, is inspired by Bernhardt bringing her in par with the grace and styles of well-known French theatre actress Adrienne Lecouvreur. The collection features tender, yet striking pieces of jewellery – earrings, pendants, rings – that combines 18ct white and yellow gold with various gemstones, including diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires.

The range consists of four collections – Scarabee, Vesta, Perroquet and Adrienne and Lys. As the names suggest, the pieces are as exquisite as tropical winged-beauties and studded in gems, they make a good start to everlasting friendships with jewellery lovers. The collection was showcased at the Paris Opera. The Autumn Winter 2015 Fine jewellery collection is now available at select stores around the world as well at its flagship store in Paris. Prices range from $4,800 to the neighbourhod of $20,900.
