This Majestic pink diamond has an asking price of $7.8 million

We were always aware that pink diamonds are majestic- We have examples like the rare Martian pink diamond and the 9 carat pink diamond sold this year to prove the fact. The latest one on the market is named The Majestic Pink Diamond owing to its impeccable attributes. The 12.27 fancy pink diamond touts a VVS1, Type IIa designation, which is the most sought after because it is devoid of any imperfections. The VVS1 designation stands for “Very Very Slightly Included” implying a very high clarify unusual for a colored diamond of this size.

The pretty, cushion cut diamond is encased in an 18k rose gold and platinum ring and it is being offered by M.S. Rau Antiques in New Orleans. The pink diamond worth $7.85 million will go on display on the 1stdibs.com website from August 8th, while those looking for a good peek at it can catch it at the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show from August 23 to 26.
