London based designer Mary Katrantzou is known for her tongue-in-cheek, punchy patterns. And, now you can quirk up your gym look, as she collaborates with Adidas to bring funky designs to your boring sportswear.
With studs, vibrant prints and psychedelic effects the new Adidas Original X Mary Katrantzou Collection features beautiful apparel and footwear executed with immersive graphics, electric colors, and a mastery of print and surface manipulation. Katrantzou’s footwear offering expands with imaginative new takes on adidas classics like the Superstar in vibrant prints and with holographic trim. The designer, coined “Queen of the Digital Print” uses intricate digital prints across a range of women’s staples, including dresses, skirts, structured tees, varsity jackets, tracksuits and other simple essentials. The prints are collages that nod towards various references of ’80s sports and fitness.
