BMW Motorrad launches the much-awaited G 310 R and G 310 GS in India


BMW Motorrad has finally launched the entry-level G 310 R and its adventure version G 310 GS in India, priced at at Rs. 2.99 lakh and Rs. 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. Both the BMW models have been the most awaited motorcycles for this year in the country. The BMW 310 twins are the first Indian made motorcycles; they have been developed by BMW Motorrad in Germany, but are being built at the TVS plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, under the BMW Motorrad-TVS tie-up. The competitive pricing of both the new models gives a great opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to become a part of the BMW owner’s family.


The attractive pricing of the new BMW motorcycles includes three years, unlimited mileage warranty. BMW started accepting pre-bookings last month and dealerships will start the delivering the motorcycles from today. The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS both are powered by the 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 34 horsepower at 9,500rpm and generates 28Nm at 7,500rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Both the variants get tubular steel frames, five-spoke alloy wheels and dual-channel ABS.
