Dutch trance music producer, DJ and radio personality Armin van Buuren is all set for his third visit in the country next month. And, fashion designer Nikhil Thampi will now be creating the key looks for DJ Armin van Buuren’s concerts in the country, next month.
The idea of his dressing comes from the concept of Atithi Devo Bhava, where we treat our guests as royalty. The designer plans to mix elements of luxury with bandhgalas and jodhpurs but with a mix of ripped jeans and slogan T-shirts. Keeping in mind the work and comfort, Nikhil Thampi has designed three different looks for Armin. “I envisage a picture of him playing the dashing edgy Indian prince and hence, I intend to give him a homegrown vibe which has a vintage meets modern royalty touch.” Thampi said in a statement.
The designer had earlier designed for Bollywood celebrities like Sridevi, Sonakshi Sinha, Kajol, Kalki Koechlin, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone. The Dutch Trance music legend, who has been ranked as the World No 1 for an impressive five times, will be performing in the city on June 6.
