Ford debuts it’s iconic car Mustang in India


From Gone in 60 seconds to Fast and Furious, Ford Mustang has been one of the most iconic American Car, every gear head has dreamt of. Ford has finally unveiled its iconic Mustang all-American muscle car, in India and has confirmed that the car will arrive later this year.

Fulfilling the dream of many Indian automotive enthusiasts, the India-spec Ford Mustang GT will arrive via CBU and will only be available with the monstrous top-spec 5.0-litre V8 engine. In terms of technicals, the only major mechanical difference between the India- and US-spec Mustangs is the availability of the car with right-hand-drive (RHD) in India. The RHD unit has been specially manufactured for British and Indian markets and has been assembled at Ford’s London facility.

Besides that, the India-bound Mustang retains most of its standard features like the LED equipped HID head-lamps, LED tail-lamps, dual-zone HVAC system, launch control, electronic line-lock, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, adaptive cruise control, drive mode selector, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags with additional curtain and knee-bags, and independent rear suspension to name a few.

Ford Mustang will launch later this year, with expected to cost between Rs.45 lakh and Rs.50 lakh.
