Of our most-loved resto-bars in the city recently dedicated a whole night to Russian luxury liquor brand, Stolichnaya and boy were we glad to be a part of it. Held on the 11th of the month and heralded by the beautiful Global Brand Ambassador of the brand and mixologist extraordinaire Meagan Sacher, Stoli Night, also hosted by Aspri Spirits, was all about dreamy, exotic cocktails, a relaxed vibe, great music and even better food. Watching the renowned mixologist who has been attached to the brand for 4 and a half years of her 9 year career whip up some explosive cocktails was a real treat. All of the delicious mixes created by Meagan were Stoli Vodka-based and while we loved the refreshing Cucumber Apple Cobbler and the classic Stoli Filthy Dirty Martini, it was the spiced up version of the drink, Some Like it Hot, that was our favourite of the night. Recipe:
60 ml – Stoli Premium
15 ml – Lime Juice
10 ml – 1:1 Simple Syrup
6 small cubes papaya (if mango cannot be found)
2-3 slices green chili peppers
Muddle, Shake & Double Strain
Serve Straight Up in Coupe or Martini glass
Garnish with papaya/slice of green pepper
