Iconic pen makers Montegrappa is all set to write its new stories in India, with its first flagship store in Mumbai. The brand revered for manufacturing the world’s most expensive pen, continues its tradition of making masterpieces that are appreciated around the world.
Through the ensuing decades, Montegrappa would produce numerous models, now highly collectible. The company has always demonstrated a skill for creating limited edition writing instruments for calligraphers, fastidious collectors and lovers of objets d’art. The luxury boutique was officially inaugurated by Giuseppe Aquila, CEO, Montegrapa Italia in presence of flamboyant Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan as chief guest and other prominent guests. Situated on level 1 of the mall, the ultimate writing instrument place sports a swanky décor with elegant interiors. Apart from a sprawling collection of timeless writing instruments, it also houses watches, perfumes, cufflinks and leather accessories.
The company is planning to launch around three stores in India in the current year and by 2018 it is targeting to have around six stores across the country. And the price range of its products starts from around Rs 12,000 and it goes upto Rs 8 lakh.
