The Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati has finally opened its doors in Mumbai. After opening opulent stores in New Delhi, and Bengaluru, the brand launched at the Taj, Santacruz.
The new showroom, run by the Global Planet Petal (GPP) group also has other luxury automotive showrooms in other parts of the country. The new showroom features visitors lounge that introduces clients to Maserati’s history and also comprises a section for Maserati merchandises. Apart from the showroom, Petal Maserati also has a 10,000 square foot service centre in Marol which is a suburb of Mumbai with a fully trained staff and equipment to handle the whole Maserati range. The showroom also has a visitors lounge, an area for Maserati merchandise and a customisation section where owners can tailor their Maserati to their taste.
The new showroom can display up to five cars and will showcase the entire portfolio, which includes the flagship Quattroporte, a four-door sports luxury saloon. Available for approximately Rs. 1.5 Cr, Quattroporte with its 330 hp entry-level engine delivers refined luxury paired with an unmistakably sporty personality. The sports sedan Ghibli captures the attention with its emphasis on sporty glamour and sleek silhouettes. A car that revolutionises the concept of customisation in the sports sedan segment, the Ghibli is priced at Rs. 1.12 Cr.
The sports coupe GranTurismo succeeds in combining unrivalled class and elegance with uncompromising sports performance like no other four-seater car. Revolutionising the luxury coupe segment in the Indian market, the GranTurismo is priced at Rs.2.2Cr. The brand’s first convertible to seat four in comfort, the Maserati GranCabrio is the start of a major new chapter in its history. Priced at Rs. 2.5 Cr, it is a perfect blend of modernity, sensuality and passion.
Recently, Maserati showcased its luxury SUV model, the Levante, in Geneva; which is also expected to be sold in the country. Maserati will offer all its global products to the growing Indian luxury car market.
