Mumbai’s highest bar Li-Bai opens at the Palladium Hotel


Located on the 37th floor of Lower Parel’s recently rechristened Palladium Hotel , Li-Bai is officially Mumbai highest bar to lounge in. Li Bai is the hotel’s newest Asian bar that looks impressive at first glance. The name of the bar (Li Bai) draws its inspiration from the famous Chinese romantic poet of the Tsang dynasty, serving new age, edgy cocktails created with distinctive Chinese ingredients.

A lofty bar positioned at 500 dizzying feet above the rest of Mumbai, Li Bai beats the Four Season’s Aer the now-dwarfed rooftop bar on 34th floor. A wire mesh sculpture of Li Bai lords over the bar, which has a dedicated cigar and Cognac section and two minimum-spend-requiring semi-private seating areas. On offer will be a large number of Asian-inspired cocktails such as the Du Fu, Smoking China, and Spring Wind. Absorb the Arabian ocean views at Li Bai Bar, a stylish watering hole that houses an exclusive multi-level cellar and the finest collections of spirits. The launch party hosted by Atul and Gayatri Ruia saw Gayatri & Vikas Oberoi , Zeba and Rajesh Kohli , Nisha Jamvwal , Sona Mohapatra and Indu Shahani amongst others.
