Nappa Dori, the creators of premium handcrafted boxes have teamed up with the luxurious Japanese chocolate brand Royce, to create limited edition gift boxes for Summer 2016.
The Royce’ X Nappa Dori represents a union between the Japanese confectioner renown for unique and inspiring chocolates and an Indian design house renown for quality and creativity. They will be launching two collectible keepsakes- the “Origami” box and the “Trunk” box, with a very discerning taste and contemporary design ethics.
The Origami Box, as the name suggests, is inspired in form and function from the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. The box is clad with a soft suede / velvet like fabric, in the signature Nappa Dori dark brown on the outside and vibrant Royce’ red on the inside. The Trunk Box I’d designed in the size of a gifting box, crafted entirely out of wood, clad in faux leather with a rich red velvet interior. A sturdy, long lasting treasure box flaunting a closing mechanism similar to that of signature Nappa Dori Trunks, it is a perfect reflection to the DNA of both brands.
The boxes are priced from INR 600 onwards. Both gift boxes offer enough room for customisation and allow you to take your pick from over 20 varieties of Royce’ chocolate. They have been produced in a limited run of 50 and will be available at select Royce’ stores from this week onwards.
