Volkswagon has introduced a special edition package package for the Beetle in India. The carmaker has not announced the prices but will soon start offering this cosmetic upgrade through select dealerships. The carmaker is providing some cosmetic enhancements that add more to the Beetle’s sporty appeal. Twin racing stripes can be had in the form of decals on the bonnet and boot lid. The car covers the gunmetal 17 inch alloy wheels, Heritage Beetle side stripe as well.
Since it is a special edition, no mechanical changes have been made to the car. The VW Beetle in its current generation was launched in December 2015 in India. It is avaible in habanero orange, oryx white, tornado red and blue silk. The VW Beetle has fewer sales in the current market, while the special edition will help the car maker to increase the sales.
