This week in Mumbai say hello to December with what else, but decadence? A month best known and loved universally for its infectious party spirit demands nothing less than a divinely decadent welcome. This December marks the third anniversary of Mumbai’s favourite dim sum teahouse, Yauatcha and we couldn’t be happier! In order to celebrate their successful stint in the city, the restaurant will be treating its patrons to a special menu. Curated by the chefs keeping the guests’ taste and preferences in mind, the additions will include a wide selection of dim sum such as Vegetable ying yang dumpling, Prawn and seaweed dumpling, Panfried king mushroom and pakchoi bun, Charcoal lamb bun and Sugarcane chicken and prawn roll, and scrumptious soups and salads like Shredded lamb soup with celery and mushroom, and Thai style prawn salad with mango. The main courses will feature Sliced lamb in kam heyong sauce and Golden fried pumpkin prawns amongst others. Salivating? Us too. Besides the oh-so-tempting new menu, find yourself at Yauatcha between 4 to 7 during Anniversary Week and you’ll be treated to an endless supply of dim sum and endless wine! Jasn-e-BiryaniJasn-e-Biryani at Neel
Add some desi tadka to Christmas season by digging into a delicious pot of Biryani. And where better to do that than at Neel. Featuring on their specially-crafted Biryani-centric menu this month are moth-watering must haves such as Kareli Ka Dum Doodhiya Pulao, a decadent lamb Biryani loaded with lamb shanks, lamb koftas and eggs served with Goght Yakhni Shorba, Nizami Chutney Biryani (Lamb & Baby Potato Dum Biryani with layers of fresh green spices served with Baghara Raita), and the tantalising Hyderabadi Masaledar Murgh Biryani (Chicken Pieces with Freshly Ground Spices; served with Murgh Ka Salan & Burhani Raita).
