Zoomcar has recently launched the ZAP interface that enables a person to list out his car on the website and rent it out when it is not being used and share the profit on a monthly basis. The response to this has been quite encouraging and will enable Zoomcar to have a fleet size of over 25,000 cars by the end of 2018. They have also introduced keyless entry, by using their cell phone, a renter can unlock the car through an app and drop it off in their neighborhood when they are done. If the car is being shared there is no need to get the keys physically across to the person, all you need to share is the access code.
