A hedge fund billionaire paid $165 million for this painting

Hedge fund billionaire Steve Cohen spent a whopping $165 million over the painting titled “Masterpiece” by Roy Lichtenstein. This is considered to be among the 10 most expensive paintings ever sold. This painting has a befitting title – the giant Ben –Day dot painting was part of his first exhibit at Ferus Gallery in 1963 and helped to introduce the world to Lichetenstein’s iconic style based on comic book panels.
