A 1950 antique robot is a collector’s delight

You know you are entering the age of sci-fi when you stumble across an antique robot. But that is the case and for $5,800 you can very well be the proud owner of a 1950 lifesize metal prop robot. By the looks of it, there are doubts that it was used as a prop for television. It then changed owners to a sign company who rented it out for promotions and store openings. The robot would give out illuminated messages that you could place in its mid section. Very entertaining. It is being offered by Off the Wall Antiques in Los Angeles.

What is really attracting about this robot is that it has a very kind face unlike the devilish ones that are made today.
