After Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, a Chinese billionaire to donate his entire fortune

Bill Gates seems to be a very popular philanthropist as well. After his the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation initiated the Giving Pledge, big names apart from himself, like investment baron Warren Buffett have followed suit to pledge their income to charity after their deaths. And latest to join the list is 42-year old Chinese entrepreneur and philanthropist Chen Guangbiao. He has also earned the title for becoming the first Chinese to be a part of the campaign by pledging his entire fortune to charity after his death.

Known for generosity, the chairman of Jiangsu Huangpu Renewable Resources Utilization has already donated 1.34 billion yuan ($0.20 billion) for charitable causes in the last 10 years, which has, in turn, benefited over 700,000 people. For the Giving Pledge, the fortune is estimated at over $735 million. The campaign has as much as $125 billion listed for charity via convinced 40 billionaires from the US who have pledged their support.
