Cartier’s Aquarium is a hanging mobile that dangles diamonds and other precious stones

Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes recently unveiled her masterpiece at the Miami Design District. Her work titled Aquarium was commissioned by the famous Parisian jewelry house Cartier. Milhazes’ Aquarium is a fantastically crafted mobile with diamonds, emeralds, tourmaline, quartz and XXL pearls. This lavish work of art was inspired by the artist’s Carnival chandeliers and ultra-vibrant paintings. Suspended in mid-air the oversized gems are attached with gold beads chains and and designed to gloriously capture light.
