Cross pays tribute to Star Wars with a Darth Vader, C-3PO and Stormtrooper pen

Let’s face it, with the dawn of keyboards, both virtual and real, we’ve forgotten the art of writing. Well, as geeky as you maybe, here’s one of the best motivations to pick up a pen and put some ink on paper! Designed by Cross, oldest manufacturer of writing instruments in the United States, these Star Wars themed Townsend pens are eye-catchy and absolutely awesome. Cross has designed three pens, each made to resemble the formidable Darth Vader, the gleaming C-3PO and a Stormtrooper. To further add to the cool-quotient of these pens, Cross has decided to produce them in extremely limited numbers, making them a rare collectible. Only 1,977 of these pens will be manufactured, each with its own unique serial number.

These pens are available at Bezar’s pop-up shop, launching on the 31st of August, 2015, and will be priced at $450 for the ballpoint versions and $575 for the fountain tip versions. Speaking to CoolHunting.com, Bradford Shellhammer, founder of Bezar, said, “As a child, I collected Star Wars figures and obsessed over the films. I still do as an adult. When the team from Cross, the iconic US pen brand, came to us to dream of ways of collaborating, I immediately suggested launching the Star Wars line.”
