David Beckham buys a million dollar Damien Hirst painting for his daughter’s bedroom

She may be just two years old but celeb tot Harper Beckham is already on her way to developing a refined eye for art and fashion. Movers were spotted carrying a Damien Hirst painting into the Beckham’s new $57 million mansion in Kensington, London. The 7 foot painting of a pink heart embellished with butterflies is aptly titled “Daddy’s Girl” and is valued at £600,000 which is almost $1 million. Hirst, who recently painted a minimal Mickey Mouse for charity, is a friend of David Beckham and the Beckham residence is home to many of his works.

A source was quoted as saying, “The removal firm was extra careful with the Damien Hirst. It was packaged up and no-one wanted to drop it and put a hole in such a valuable work of art.”
