DKNY ties up with New York Rangers; designs practice jerseys


Turning ice hockey chic, designer brand DKNY recently joined hands with the New York Rangers to cut out modish practice jerseys that the team will make use o through the season. Also, given the fact that these are just practice jerseys, the brand probably won’t have all the exposure it’s looking for, though the filming of the behind-the-scenes preparations for the “24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the Winter Classic series by HBO should shed a spotlight on these brilliantly tailored jerseys. And this isn’t the first time the fashion label has waded in sporty waters, with DKNY having signed a sponsorship deal signed with the New York Yankees in April 2010.
