Explore the newly reopened Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo spa

Millionaires’ paradise Monte-Carlo adds a new spa to its repertoire, rather an old favorite with a revamp that makes it fit for sport stars- Thermes Marins. The 7,000m2 property spent most of its year with the shutter down but now that it’s back with an upgraded seawater pool, glittering mosaics and stunning plaster bas-reliefs, we’re not complaining.

thermes-marins-monte-carlo-spa-2With enlarged treatment rooms in white, with color changing waterbed treatment tables, and hallways that resemble art galleries, the place loved for and recognized by its famous seawater pool with shell shaped ceiling, gets a whole new meaning. Not to mention an expanded range of treatments. Just think, gold and caviar body exfoliation, bath with champagne crystals, massage with underwater jets, lunches at L’Hirondelle!

These temperatures also provide relaxation and reduce stress, improve sleep disorders and dramatically improve jet lag symptoms. Then again, all of Thermes Marins’ marine and massage therapies are specialized in wellness and preventive health.

If you’re in no mind to narrow down, we’d recommend leaving it to the experts. For example, the ‘Detox and Performance Stay’ offered by the spa, allows you to eliminate toxins, tensions and stress to optimize your natural potential. And includes 3-night stay in a double room with breakfast at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, free admission to the heated sea-water pool, Turkish baths, banya, sauna, solarium with jacuzzi, cardio-training center and 16 individual treatments. Rates start from €2,184 ($2,700) with lunch.
