Hennessy and Berluti come together for the special limited edition XO Mathusalem

Hennessy is quite well known for its cognac collection, so much that they make their presence felt on important occasions like the Inauguration Day, tying up with luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, and Rolls Royce. After the 18-carat gold Hennessy ‘Paradis Horus’ cognac decanter, Hennessy, is now all set to present to the world the limited edition XO Mathusalem bottling which comes in a custom-made leather trunk by the famous shoemaker Berluti. Priced at $23,000 six liter (1.6 gallon) the XO Mathusalem filled inside a hand-blown crystal decanter will see only 150 pieces.

The bottle is said to be originally designed by the Marquis de Geoffre in 1947. The chest has been designed and signed by Olga Berluti. The cognac itself tastes of old leather along with black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla and crystallized fruit.
