Last year saw a brunette Barbie show her love for Coach, donning sunglasses, handbags and select apparel by the brand and this year Barbie goes the red carpet route with high fashion dresses and accessories from celebrity favorite brand Hervé Léger. The collector’s edition doll comes with two versions of the designer’s notorious bandage dress. The first dress- a crimson confection- comes with an elaborate pair of gladiator inspired shin high stiletto heeled sandals, a harness belt and crimson box clutch with black accents. The second outfit is a black and white graphic printed dress complete with black booties and a studded, oversized black clutch. Each dress is a miniature rendition of actual Hervé Léger designs and remains true to the original with authentic Hervé Léger by Max Azria bandages and yarns, and manufactured at the same factory that produces the full designer collection.
Presented in a paparazzi themed box, the production of this doll has been limited to 25,000 pieces worldwide. The doll herself is the Gold Label Collection Barbie doll with blonde braided hair and a clear acrylic stand.
