Louis XIII Rare Cask 42,6 gets a global launch in India

We have already spoken about the Louis XIII Rare Cask 42,6, but that was not enough for a treasure so special and unique. For the first time Louis XIII, Rémy Martin has celebrated the global launch of the Louis XIII Rare Cask 42,6 in India. This second addition to the Rare Cask collection is named after the unique 42,6 degrees of alcohol content which is more than 40 percent. Discovered by Pierrette Trichet, the Cellar Master of the House of Rémy Martin, this rare collection celebrates the classic LOUIS XIII blend of 1,200 Eau-de-vies, 100 years in the making and salient aromas that are unique to this one precious cask with notes of plum and dates, mingling with flavors of gingerbread, prune stone and ginger, punctuated by a final touch of tobacco leaf. The launch event at Udaipur, the City of Lakes, was grand to complement the product’s grandiose. Selected guests from 17 countries attended the launch to celebrate and raise a toast to the rare barrel’s extraordinary contents discovered from the House of Remy Martin. Along with her deputy Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, Pierrette Trichet presented the jewel in the crown of the Louis XIII legend to an audience gathered at the global launch event.
