Matsuzakaya Department Store sells Dom Perignon champagne for $11,005 per bottle
The Matsuzakaya Department Store in Nagoya’s Sakae-ku began selling 3 liter bottles of Dom Perignon champagne on Wednesday at 1.26 million yen ($11,005) a bottle. Only 100 bottles of this 1995 vintage champagne is available worldwide. Only 20 bottles will be sold in Japan of which Matsuzakaya Department Store will sell the first five.


Matsuzakaya has already sold one of the 3-liter bottles. Each of Dom Perignon 1995 vintage champagne bottle is numbered and elaborately wrapped to attract customers.
