Champagne is the world’s most famous wine which must come by law only from the vineyards of the best of the Champagne districts and are produced from a blend of black and white grapes. More than a few new candidates have been trying to vie for the spot of the world’s premier bubbly white. The latest Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque line is supposed to take away the title of the World’s Most Expensive Champagne. The BBC reports that Pernod Ricard will launch the world’s most expensive bottle of champagne.
The new champagne will be part of the Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque line and will sell for about $1,275 per bottle. Here’s a bit of tip for naives – Champagne should be served chilled, preferably in an ice bucket to maintain the cool temperature. It should be drunk from a flute, a tall narrow ‘tulip-shaped’ glass.
