Rémy Martin plays up science for its new cognac glass design ahead of the Paris Design Week

Rémy Martin puts the science in your hands with a series of its new cocktail glass designs. The French cognac brand will be unveiling the cocktail glass designs under the theme of ‘Remyxologie’, at the Paris Design Week. A scientific interpretation of a mixture of colors, aromas and materials, the designs have been created by international students at the École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) as part of Rémy Martin’s “Futur Héritage” programme.

The series will include 10 innovative projects created by the students such as “Shaker en Cristal” by Anouk Meyer, which is part cocktail pitcher and part shaker. “Totem” by Hongchao Wang features a built-in ice bucket, while “Nomade” by Rachel Suming delivers as a portable bar.

remy-martin-cognac-glass-2“Synesthésie” by Monica Albini through an integrated metallic sphere focuses on the role smell has in mixology and “Rémy Bubble” by Adriana Castillo Cota encases the cognac in a bubble of ice, mixing it with the ingredients as it melts.

The Future Heritage 2 Exposition by Rémy Martin will be showcased by Italian interiors brand B&B Italia during the Paris Design Week, from September 5 to 13.
