RIP in the world’s most expensive casket at an air-conditioned columbarium in Malaysia

Some people will go all the way and take luxury to the grave too. At the Xiao En Center in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, one can rest for eternity in a $29,000 casket. The coffin, made in the USA, is solid mahogany, lined with pure velvet bedding with an adjustable headrest. The funeral center, which caters to Buddhists, Taoists, and Christians alike, has all kinds of packages. If the expensive coffin is not your thing, the center, in addition to bio-degradable caskets, offers urns too. The urn with the remains of loved ones are well placed in gardens or in air-conditioned columbariums.
