Salvatore’s Legacy sets new record for World’s Most Expensive Cocktail
![]()
We have seen exorbitantly priced cocktails and spirits in the past some have had expensive jewels attached to these bottles like the Flawless cocktail that contained 24-carat edible gold leaf priced at $71,000 while the other one was the Jewel of Pangaea, that was made by the world’s most luxurious nightclub and Mouawad, where the cocktail was topped off with a 1-carat diamond. But that’s not all!! “Salvatore’s Legacy”, which was recently concocted by Mixologist Salvatore Calabrese in front of an audience of London’s top bartenders at the Playboy Club in Mayfair has set the record for the most expensive cocktail in the world.

It is to be believed that the high price is not because of any expensive jewels attached to it, but because it contains world’s oldest liqueur and Cognac from the time of the American Revolution leading to costing a glass at £5,500 ($8826). Calabrese has previously assembled a collection of fine and rare Cognacs worth over £1 million, which can be dated back to the late 18th century, many of which are showcased behind glass at Salvatore’s Bar at the Playboy Club.
