Schimmel’s K 208 Pegasus Oval Art Grand Piano

If you are bored of the typical styles then naturally you go for a makeover right? But can you apply this logic to a Piano? German designer Professor Luigi, Schimmel’s K 208 Pegasus Oval Art Grand Piano manages to break free of its age-old form. Exclusively handcrafted, the K 208 Pegasus has an ergonomically curved keyboard, over 200 strings under a total tension of 176,520 newtons, and a key assembly composed of 10,000 pieces.

It also includes a Sostenuto pedal (middle pedal), a fully-adjustable integrated black leather upholstered stool extendible in width, height, and distance to the keyboard. A hard-wearing professional lacquer finish gives an elegant finishing to this out-of-ordinary (or should I say out-of-ordinary) grand piano. If I am not mistaken then it is up for they $110,000.
