Shiseido unveils the world’s most expensive skincare cream

How much would you pay for a cream that promises to increase the glow and reduce the age that shows on your face? Humans are crossing all boundaries to look young and beautiful all through their life. Japan’s largest cosmetics firm, Shiseido, is set to unveil the world’s most expensive skincare cream to mark the 30th anniversary of its beauty product line “Cle de Peau Beaute.” Priced at $13,200, the “La Creme” is more expensive than gold currently. To up the product’s exclusivity, only three such jars will be offered by Shiseido. Each handcrafted jar will be made up of 30 layers of crystals and three platinum rungs in partnership with Crystal Saint-Louis from France. From August 30th onward, keen clients can pick one of the three La Creme jars from Shiseido’s flagship store in Tokyo’s upmarket Ginza district. And if there is more demand than supply, then the brand will hold a draw for the winners!
