Special edition of MoonFire touted to be one of the most expensive books ever made

Though the price is still uncertain, the special edition of MoonFire is touted to be one of the most expensive in history. And due to the scarcity of the rock, only 12 such copies will be rolled out. Featuring pieces of Moon rock that crashed to Earth as meteorites, the outsized book also sports glossy photos of the landing from the archives of Nasa and LIFE magazine. To top all this, each copy will be signed by Buzz Aldrin. Now don’t tell me you don’t know that Aldrin was the second man to walk on the Moon. The publishers, Taschen America, are waiting to hear back from valuers before setting a price. However it is estimated to be one of the most expensive books ever made…carrying a tag of hundreds of thousands of dollars. If you have that much money stacked up then you can sign up to the waiting list on the Taschen website for a piece of Moon history.
