An interesting automaton clock by Parmigiani is out on roll, and it displays animated figures of a cat and a mouse! All those who have been and still are great fans of the Tom & Jerry cartoon characters, you might find this piece pretty appealing. Aptly christened - The Cat and Mouse, the mechanism is an ode to the awe-inspiring talent of renowned sculptor - Edouard-Marcel Sandoz. The clock is not just a figure that stands still to fascinate, instead it showcases fascinating mechanized movements wherein, the black obsidian body of the cat moves in a circular one-hour timed circuit, forever in an attempt to catch the running rodent! And every time the feline comes closer to catching the white gold diamond mouse, the latter leaps away, constantly escaping. Now ain’t that an interesting piece of handicraft you would like to own? Its like one of those cuckoo-bird time-tellers, in an even better avatar!

I love Guinea pigs, and no, it's not because I work at some medical testing lab. I find them cute, and these furry rodents take very little living space, which suits me! A Japanese company has now set up an online shop where you can pick up clothes for your furry friends. The outfits include wedding dresses (full with a veil / Tuxedo), tank tops, kimonos, or and accessories such as Straw Hat + Blonde Hair Extension or even Santa hats and coats. Lamborghini is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style, and that includes a gathering of 350 ‘raging bull’ branded cars, which would take the tour starting from Milan up until Bologna, the end-point being the headquarters of Lamborghini! You know what, not all Lamborghinis were welcomed to join its 50th Anniversary Grand Tour. The brand had allowed only the modern and vintage model entry, that too with a valid license plate.

With Hedi Slimane taking place as its new creative director since March 2012, Saint Laurent seems to be on an upscale tread. We've seen the brand coming up with plans to open flagship stores around the world. Last week only the French brand inaugurated its Berlin store, and now it is opening doors to its largest flagship store worldwide in Paris on 53 Avenue Montaigne. Housing both men’s and women’s collection from Saint Laurent, the store is spread over a sprawling 900sq.m area of retail space inclusive of two-floors.

Bose has long since been one of the biggest players in premium audio equipment, unveiling ear-candy pieces like headphones and home theater systems. The company has recently unveiled yet another pair of over-ear headphones christened the AE2w Bluetooth headphones. These beautifully crafted devices offer crystal clear sound and come with an A2DP-enabled Bluetooth dongle. This attachment is detachable and can be removed as and when required. The add-on dongle also gives a user full control on volume, with access to a multi-function button, a power switch and a micro-USB port.

I’ve always thought of inflatables to be an easy, simple approach, but a risky affair. One prick with a sharp object, and there goes all the dollars you’ve spend on it. Nonetheless, we see umpteen number of options in inflatables, some crazy, some sane: inflatable battery powered cars, inflatable affordable spa, personal inflatable private island, inflatable outdoor home theater screen and even an inflatable pub! What’s in news now, is a an inflatable lounge – the AirLounge XL. True, it squeezes about 30 people, and has a matching table to go with. However, what are the odds of a stiletto piercing it or maybe a slight prick from a toothpick? That’s a questionable fact ain’t it?

The high-end department store has been planning to introduce ‘drive-thrus’ and is soon scheduled to launch this service for its most esteemed customers. Now a visit to Selfridges could be accomplished without you having to go through the ordeal of finding parking space, walking through the exhaustive aisles of the store, and stand in long queues for payments! All of this can now be done through a “Click and Collect” option that Selfridges has already launched on its online shopping website.

In conjunction to Lamborghini celebrating its 50th Anniversary Grand Tour, the brand unleashed 350 of its raging bulls onto the roads of Italy. In a similar, but more subtler fashion, Bentley celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race, along with it memorializing its participation in the inaugural event, so also squeezing in the 10th anniversary celebrations of the winged B’s (Bentley’s) victory in the race in 2003. Bentley is “unleashing” its super car demons - Le Mans Limited Edition Mulsanne and Continental Models! There would be six new Le Mans Limited Editions, each model named after a driver from Bentley’s six victories at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours race.
