Most expensive condominium in Chicago sells for $15 million

The real estate market seems to be on the upswing. With buyers willing to pay exorbitant sums for living spaces, it is boom time for the real estate industry. The latest record-breaking real estate sale was recently made in Chicago. A penthouse located on the 66th floor of Park Tower at 800 N Michigan Ave has fetched a cool $15 million, making it the most expensive condo ever sold in Chicago. As the deal was negotiated privately, news of the sale was announced only later on the MLS.

Spread over 7900 square feet, this home boasts 3 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 5 half bathrooms, and 3 garage spaces. Not to forget the beautiful panoramic views it offers and the 44’x15′ private terrace space.

While there is no information available on the buyers, the penthouse was previously owned by Richard Cooper, whose family owns the Cooperfund family investment company. Well, we can say one thing for the new owners, they surely made a wise investment.
