2008 Aston Martin DBS unveiled

Finally, it has been publicly exposed at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. We are talking about the much talked about the new 2008 Aston Martin DBS. This handsome car bridges the gap between the track cars and road cars from the same company. What else can speed enthusiasts ask for? It is a 6.0-liter V12 powered, race-bred, two-seater shaped by the aerodynamic demands of high performance, with an exquisite interior that marries beautifully hand-finished materials with the very latest in performance technology. Rendering a top speed of 191mph (302km/h) you can zoom from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.3 seconds. The output is rated at 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Weighing 3,737 lbs, its carbon-ceramic brakes, and foot-wide Pirelli tires keep all the power in check.

This latest DBS has the same feel like that of a brawny young chap in a fitted tuxedo! Aston Martin had revealed this concept long time ago and also featured it in the latest James Bond film. Now this production version is all set to hit the car showrooms from first quarter of 2008.
