2013 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG 45th Anniversary launched


Mercedes turns 45, and to celebrate the year, the brand has launched an anniversary special SL65 AMG, named the SL 65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition, which will be limited to 45 units only. It will sport a designo Magno graphite paint finish combined with high-gloss chrome applications and aluminum insertions. There will be a carbon-fiber package for the front apron, the exterior mirrors, and the spoiler lip, along with a new “twin-blade” radiator grille with blade-like slats, LED daytime driving lights, and fins on the wings and the hood. On the inside, you will find it upholstered in designo Exclusive STYLE leather in titanium grey pearl or ginger beige, with electrically adjustable AMG sports seats, embossed AMG emblems on the seat backrests, and designo Nappa leather roof lining in ginger beige featuring special stitching details in AMG V12 diamond pattern.

The car comes with an active parking assist alongside Parktronic, Bang & Olufsen BeoSound AMG sound system and COMAND Online with 6-disc DVD changer. The car comes with a AMG 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine under the hood that can hit 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, with top speeds of 186 mph. It is expected to launch in September 2012.
