Audi has announced the 2016 Audi A8 L 4.0T Sport which sits between the normal A8 and its faster super-charged cousin the S8. It front and lower bumper skirts are now a bit lower which give this new trim a more aggressive look. Under the hood a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 which churns out 450 HP, 15 more horses than the previous 4.0T model. 20″ five spoke wheels make way for the 19 inchers, and if you are in a mood to splurge there are the optional 21 inch wheels. The executive and luxury packages give the plush cabin diamond quilt stitching, Alcantra upholstered headliner with a panoramic sunroof. Standard features include – heated and cooled massage seats, pop up display and a host of driver assist features.
Audi has yet to release the performance figures but with the standard A8 4.0 crossing the 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds, needless to say the Sport trim will also be blazing fast. The 2016 Audi A8 L 4.0T Sport will carry a price of $90,500 sans the taxes and extras
