A Range Rover for the Middle East’s elite adorned with 57,412 coins

Diamond studded cars are not so novel anymore with the likes of Bentley, Peugeot, Aston Martin and Mercedes having already given the world bling mean machines. The Middle East region has always had a particular fascination with exclusive cars and also a knack for flaunting their money like no other. And now they have decided to do so quite literally! Case in point is a Range Rover generously embellished with 57,412 coins from some of the most oil-rich nations of the region by an outfit called Coins Car. You will spot coins from Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia with special prominence given to United Arab Emirates on this vehicle.

Coins Car has not spared even an inch of the Range Rover, turning the SUV into a piggy bank on wheels! While it may be worth a lot, it leads one to wonder what purpose it serves exactly. There is no art in throwing around money, maybe a lesson or two in creativity would serve them well!
