Britain’s priciest number plate, X1 is up for sale at a staggering £ 1 million and is being advertised by regtransfers.co.uk. This registration plate which is being touted as ‘historical and exceptional’ is 43 times more expensive than the BMW X1, a car it is ideally suited for!

The plate dates back to December 1903 when it was issued by Northumberland County Council and is said to have belonged to the Chairman of a committee in Tynemouth. Those who are willing to shell out the exorbitant asking price should be prepared to spend an additional £156.50 on transfer and other fee. While this plate would be a great match with McLaren’s multi-million pounds unique BMW X1, we are waiting to see which car aficionado actually laps this up!
